Wisdom for the True Believer
"Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars." Proverbs 9:1
Here in Proverbs we find that Wisdom has built a house. The verses that follow tell us she has prepared a feast. Everyone is invited to come inside to partake of the understanding that dwells within her mighty fortress. Seven pillars are the foundation of her house. It is these seven pillars that are the absolute support for Wisdom. I believe that all scripture is a revelation of Christ as Paul states in 1 Corinthians 1:30, "But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom…" Growing in the knowledge of God’s grace and thirty-two years of ministry have helped me identify seven doctrines that could be classified as pillars of wisdom. Understanding the truth behind these seven doctrines can be the foundation of wisdom in the heart of the believer.
First pillar: Doctrine of Redemption
Second pillar: Doctrine of Sin and Forgiveness
Third pillar: Doctrine of Scripture
Fourth pillar: Doctrine of Death and Resurrection
Fifth pillar: Doctrine of Predestination
Sixth pillar: Doctrine of Freedom
Seventh pillar: Doctrine of Fulfillment.
Defining and describing these seven pillars will be the subject matter of my first book now in the works. We are thrilled to begin the process of finally getting this powerful gospel into print. It is my honor to announce the resurgence of Mike Williams Ministries on the world stage. This will be happening in the form of print, our website, and seminars. All of which will be heralding Wisdom for the True Believer.
All of us have felt the effects of death to an old belief system and the resurrection of the new. As we have been raised to life again, it is time to walk out of the cemetery of the old belief system and gain greater understanding and wisdom of the new. The increased wisdom I have recently gained has incited me to share it with you and the entire world.
This gospel has sent hearts soaring with freedom in Christ. We hope that your hearts have been impacted greatly and you desire for others to be set free. Despite the fact that this gospel sets us free from the obligation to tithe or give, we hope you will consider helping us. We need your support now more than ever as we put this message into print. I have spoken with many of you recently and am encouraged by your willingness to help. Many of you have offered to help us proofread and edit the manuscript. Others have been willing to set up speaking engagements to help me develop and spread this message. Yet others are willing to support our endeavors financially.
